Introduction to the laboratory

The Engine Research Laboratory of Shanghai Jiaotong University belongs to the Marine Engineering Department of the School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering of Shanghai Jiaotong University. It also relies on the State Key Laboratory of Ocean Engineering, the Collaborative Innovation Center of High-tech Ships and Deep Sea Development Equipment, and is committed to ships and offshore equipment. Research and development of power systems in the automotive, aerospace, power generation and other fields.

The Engine Research Office of Shanghai Jiaotong University was established in 2014 by Professor Li Tie. It currently includes 1 professor, 1 assistant researcher, 1 research assistant, 1 engineer, 7 doctoral students and 7 master students. The research laboratory has world-class spray and combustion optical test and experimental devices. It has several advanced test equipments such as high-speed cameras, ICCD cameras, pulsed lasers, dye lasers, and spectrometers. It has built a world-class fixed-capacity combustion bomb and rapid compression expansion. Advanced test benches such as machines, and a single-cylinder machine (variable bore) test bench, multi-cylinder test bench, and high-performance computing laboratory.

Professor Li Tie, the current director of the Institute of Power Plants and Automation, studied under the famous Professor Guang An Bo in the field of studying in Japan, and carried out fruitful research in the field of internal combustion engine spray combustion and optical testing. After returning to China in 2013, he was introduced as a national youth thousand-person plan expert to Shanghai Jiaotong University to continue his studies in internal combustion engines. In the same year, he won the SAE Ralph R. Teetor Education Award, the first university scholar in China to receive this honor. In recent years, he has published more than 100 academic books. Journals and international conference papers, dozens of invention patents, and consecutively selected Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholars List from 2014 to 2017.

Under the leadership of Professor Li Tie, the research team is in emulsion fuel, bio-alcohol fuel, diesel micro-ignition, spray combustion similarity, supercritical spray, high-pressure jet concentration test, knocking, ignition, Miller cycle, exhaust gas recirculation And research directions such as ship electric propulsion have achieved rich results. He has undertaken more than ten provincial and ministerial research projects, and is conducting research on a number of national major projects such as national low-speed aircraft engineering and luxury cruise ships, and conducting research and development of ships, automobile engines and parts through industry-university-research cooperation, providing powerful power field. 课程简介:主要研究热能和其他能量相互转换以及能源有效合理利用的基本规律。本课程着重使学生理解和掌握工程热力学的基本概念、基本规律和基本方法,以及进行能量转换的工质的热力学性质;能正确运用这些规律,进行能量平衡计算,分析能量转换方式的合理性和可行性,理论联系实际地进行热力过程、热力循环的分析和热力计算,合理安排和利用能量。
